I grew up all over upstate New York as part of a military family, the only sister to three brothers. In my junior year of high school, I moved to Florida, and later made my way to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida—where my therapy journey began—and I’ve called this city home ever since. I went on to earn my master’s degree in counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in couples counseling, individual counseling, and group therapy, working with clients facing PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I am proficient in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), always tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, and volunteering with animals whenever I can—especially dogs. I’m the proud owner of a sweet mixed-breed pup named Skittles, who never fails to brighten my day.
I’m currently married and the proud mom of two daughters—one in college and the other soon to begin her own college journey. My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine belief in every person’s ability to heal, grow, and create a life that feels meaningful.
