Social Investigations
A comprehensive evaluation of family dynamics, parenting capacity, and factors affecting the best interests of the child, conducted pursuant to court order and resulting in a written report with findings and recommendations for the Court.

About Dr. Tracy Riley, LCSW, PsyD
Forensic Family Law Expert | Mental Health Evaluator | Expert Witness
Dr. Tracy Riley is a licensed clinical social worker, forensic mental health evaluator, parenting coordinator, mediator, and court-appointed professional with more than twenty years of experience working with individuals, families, attorneys, and courts. Her practice is focused primarily on forensic family law matters, including social investigations, parenting coordination, reunification therapy, forensic evaluations, and expert consultation.
Dr. Riley is frequently appointed by courts to provide independent assessments and recommendations in matters involving child custody, timesharing, high-conflict family dynamics, parent-child contact problems, parental alienation allegations, and family reunification. She is known for her balanced, evidence-based approach and her ability to communicate complex family and mental health issues in a manner that is clear, practical, and useful to courts and legal professionals.
In addition to her court-appointed work, Dr. Riley consults with attorneys nationwide regarding social work practice, professional standards of care, ethics, liability, and mental health issues arising in litigation. She serves as an evaluator for the National Board of Forensic Evaluators and is committed to maintaining objectivity, professional integrity, and adherence to accepted forensic standards in every matter she undertakes.
